      Educational Qualifications:

      • For Compiler Post: Bachelor degree in Economics or Statistics or Mathematics.
      • For Statistical Investigator Grade II: Bachelor Degree in Economics, Or Graduation as supplementary or Elective Subject
      • For Assistants Posts: Graduation in any stream with Computer Proficiency
      • For CHSL: 10+2 and Graduation
      • For CGL 10+2 and Graduation

      Application Fee & Mode of Payment:

      Rs. 100 (One hundred only) Candidate may note that only online applications will be accepted at
      http://ssconline2.gov.in. and http://sscregistration.nic.in. All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee, as per extant government orders.

      Physical CGL eligibility are only require for the following posts:
      • Inspector as
      • Central Excise

      Physical Standards must be as:

      Sex Height Chest Weight
      Male 157.5 CM Chest 81 CM (fully expanded with a minimum expanses of 5 CM)Note – There is a relaxation of 5 CM available for Garwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Scheduled Tribes.
      Female 152 CM Height relax-able by 2.5 CM 48 KG Note :-Weight by 2 KG for  Gorkhas, Garwalis, Assamese and Members of Scheduled Tribes

      Physical Test

      Male 1600 meters  in 15 minutes 8 KM  In 30  minutes
      Female 1 Km. in 20 minutes 3 KM in 25 minutes

      Sub-Inspector in CBI

      Sex Height Chest Vision
      Man 165 CM Height relax-able for Hills-men and Tribal : 5 CM 76 CM  with  expansion
      • Eye-sight (with or without glasses)
      • Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
      • Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.
      Woman 150 CM
      • Eye-sight (with or without glasses)
      • Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
      • Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.


      Candidate must be either:
      • Citizen of India, or
      • Subject of Nepal, or
      • Subject of Bhutan, or
      • Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settle down in India, or
      • Person of Indian origin who has migrated from, Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African Countries of Kenya, Zaire, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settle down in India.

      This CGL Eligibility Criteria is valid for SSC 2017 examinations. Although, this is almost same as 2016 CGL Eligibility, When Staff Selection Commission will upgrade CGL Eligibility then we will also notify you on this page.
